The Position

The Executive Director of Education Delivery is a key leadership position charged with overseeing and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of educational and support services offered by Tauondi Aboriginal College. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this role involves developing and implementing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services aligned with regulatory standards.

The Executive Director of Education Delivery will lead efforts to assess, improve, and innovate educational programs, student support services, and community engagement initiatives. Collaboration with external partners is crucial to fostering a holistic approach to service delivery. The position requires a visionary leader with a background in education, program development, and a commitment to promoting culturally responsive practices. Cultural responsiveness is woven into the fabric of this role, promoting practices that respect the diverse community we serve, and leading the charge in enhancing cultural competency and safety among staff to create an inclusive environment.

The co-leadership model at Tauondi Aboriginal College is a visionary approach where the Executive Director of Corporate Services and the Executive Director of Service Quality and Delivery collaboratively share leadership responsibilities and decision-making. In this innovative framework, both leaders actively contribute their unique expertise and perspectives to strategic planning, problem-solving, and organisational development.
